KPMD are pleased to announce that the Health Protection Agency, have chosen KPMD's EQA software to manage their External Quality Assessment / Proficiency Testing (EQA/PT) schemes. KPMD were chosen after a full public tender which was advertised in the EC Journal.

The KPMD software will be used across two sites in London and Newcastle, to manage all of the HPA schemes in Food, Legionella and Water. The software is currently used by a wide variety of EQA / Proficiency Testing organisations and can be used for all types of EQA / Proficiency Testing schemes including analytical chemistry, biology, materials evaluation, medical analysis, microbiology, sampling and veterinary etc. Current users of the software include UK NEQAS (Blood Coagulation, Haematinics, Haematology, Immunocytochemistry, Immunology, and Leucocyte Immunophenotyping), Tackler Analytical Ltd, and NIAID DAIDS.
